committee and Board responsibilities, including meetings, are handled at
your own desk? Contributions large and small benefit the membership.
All members are encouraged to volunteer – no experience is necessary!

you are not a current member, please complete a membership application
and pay the annual dues. Please also ensure you have your employers

Help with the website
Help promote the efforts of VASFAA through social media outlets
Help ensure VASFAA activities have photos taken at them, coordinate with newsletter and other committees
Government Relations

Follow issues and make membership aware

Assist with membership efforts, community building, etc.

Help compose the membership newsletter

Promote awareness on issues relevant to diverse student populations

Reach out to High Schools to inform about aid issues
Training:
Help plan training opportunities in the Fall and webinar opportunities throughout the year
Archives:
Help manage the historical record of VASFAA
Funds Management:
Assist with managing VASFAA's investment portfolio
Budget & Finance:
Help set VASFAA's Budget, monitor income & spending, select Buddy Award
Awareness:
Help promote financial aid resources, FinAid Awareness Month
