• Assist with planning the annual conference

Development Partners:

• Help bring business partners to VASFAA and maintain those relationships
  

Electronic Services, Social Media, & Photography:

• Help with the website
• Help promote the efforts of VASFAA through social media outlets
  
• Help ensure VASFAA activities have photos taken at them, coordinate with newsletter and other committees

Government Relations

• State or Federal Focus
• Follow issues and make membership aware

Membership:

• Assist with membership efforts, community building, etc.

Newsletter:

• Help compose the membership newsletter
  

Public Relations:

• Help promote VASFAA efforts to the general public
  

F.O.C.U.S.:

• Promote awareness on issues relevant to diverse student populations
  

Secondary Schools

• Reach out to High Schools to inform about aid issues
  

Training:

• Help plan training opportunities in the Fall and webinar opportunities throughout the year

Archives:

• Help manage the historical record of VASFAA
  

Funds Management:

• Assist with managing VASFAA's investment portfolio
  

Budget & Finance:

• Help set VASFAA's Budget, monitor income & spending, select Buddy Award

Awareness:

• Help promote financial aid resources, FinAid Awareness Month
  

VASFAA Mentor/Mentee:

• Helping you build relationships that support your growth, your goals, and your impact in the world of financial aid.
